More About Ronald
A refugee himself, Ronald has worked with multiple organizations in Kakuma and is deeply passionate about expanding job opportunities for young people in the camp. He pioneered the company’s eco-packaging model, built its micro-licensing system, and introduced a circular process that turns paper waste into clean eco-charcoal. Ronald is driven by one belief: that innovation can rise from refugee communities—and transform entire economies.
As a lead skills trainer, he focuses on training refugees youths including persons with disabilities in production and entrepreneurship, promoting inclusion, self-reliance, and sustainable development. He has previously worked with Humanity & Inclusion as a Community Rehabilitation Worker, supporting persons with disabilities through rehabilitation, empowerment, and community integration.
